1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, purchasing, or participating in a continuing education event offered by Dani Elle Mentorship and Consulting through Ascent Developmental Group, LLC ("Provider," "we," or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These terms apply to live webinars, interactive discussions, recorded courses, workshops, and other continuing education offerings administered by the Provider.
Our events are hosted through OpenCEU. Participants are also subject to OpenCEU's applicable terms and policies.
2. Continuing Education Accreditation
Ascent Developmental Group, LLC is a BACB® Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) Provider, OP-26-12824.
Continuing education events are developed to meet applicable BACB requirements. The number and classification of CEUs offered will be identified in each event listing.
The BACB does not individually review, approve, or endorse ACE events or their instructional content.
Participants are responsible for determining whether an event satisfies their individual certification, licensure, or professional development requirements.
3. Registration and Payment
Registration must be completed through the designated event registration platform.
Event fees are listed at the time of registration and must be paid in full unless otherwise specified.
Registration is intended for individual use and may not be shared or transferred without prior authorization.
Payments are processed securely through OpenCEU's integrated payment processor, Stripe. The Provider does not directly collect or store complete payment-card information.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that schedules and circumstances change.
Participant cancellations:
Full refunds are available when requested at least 24 hours before a scheduled live event, provided the participant has not accessed the event's recorded content or other restricted course materials.
Refund requests submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are generally not eligible for a refund.
Participants unable to attend a live event may access the recording when recording access is included with registration.
For standalone on-demand courses, refunds may be requested within seven days of purchase, provided the participant has not started viewing the course or accessing its assessments.
Refunds may also be provided when required by applicable law or when exceptional circumstances warrant consideration.
Provider cancellations or schedule changes:
If we cancel an event without providing an equivalent replacement, registered participants will receive a full refund.
If an event is substantially rescheduled, participants may choose to retain their registration or request a refund.
Refund requests should be submitted to hello@daniellevirnelson.com.
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method, subject to the payment processor's processing timeline.
5. Attendance and CEU Eligibility
Registration or payment alone does not guarantee continuing education credit.
To qualify for CEUs, participants must fulfill all applicable attendance and completion requirements, including:
Participating in the required instructional content.
Completing attendance-verification activities during live or recorded events.
Completing required knowledge assessments for recorded instruction.
Providing accurate personal and certification information when claiming certificates.
Personally completing all attendance checks and assessments without assistance or misrepresentation.
CEUs will be awarded only when the applicable completion requirements have been satisfied.
Participants who do not fulfill these requirements may not be eligible to receive CE credit. Repeating substantially the same continuing education activity does not qualify for additional BACB CEUs under BACB certification requirements.
6. Certificates of Completion
Certificates are administered electronically through OpenCEU.
Eligible participants must complete the required attendance or assessment activities and claim their certificates through their OpenCEU accounts.
Participants are responsible for verifying that their name, certification number, event information, and CEU classification are accurate.
The Provider and OpenCEU maintain applicable continuing education documentation in accordance with their respective record-retention obligations.
Participants remain responsible for retaining their CE documentation and reporting completed continuing education to the appropriate credentialing or licensing organizations.
7. Recording and Consent
Live continuing education events may be recorded, including instructional presentations, discussions, questions, chat contributions, and other interactive elements.
Recordings may be made available to registered participants and future authorized purchasers as part of the Provider's continuing education library.
By registering and participating, you acknowledge and consent to the recording of your voluntary audio, video, and written contributions and their inclusion in event recordings, transcripts, and related instructional materials.
Participants who prefer not to appear or speak in recordings should keep their cameras and microphones disabled. Written contributions may also appear in recordings or transcripts.
Participants with concerns about recorded participation should contact the Provider before the event to discuss available alternatives. All participants seeking CE credit must still meet applicable participation requirements.
The Provider may edit, restrict, or remove recorded content to protect confidentiality, maintain instructional quality, or comply with applicable requirements.
Participant contributions will not be used as standalone promotional testimonials without additional authorization.
8. Recording Access
When recording access is included with registration, participants may access the recording through their OpenCEU accounts after the event and applicable processing.
Recording access is intended for the registered participant's individual educational use.
Access is subject to platform availability, applicable licensing restrictions, and any event-specific limitations disclosed at registration. Lifetime access is not guaranteed.
A recording's availability does not independently establish eligibility for CE credit. Participants must complete the requirements applicable to the recorded format.
9. Confidentiality and Professional Conduct
Our continuing education events encourage thoughtful discussion of professional experiences, clinical challenges, and ethical dilemmas.
Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct consistent with applicable ethical and confidentiality obligations.
Participants must not disclose identifying or confidential information about clients, families, supervisees, employees, or other individuals without appropriate authorization.
Clinical examples should be fictional, composite, or sufficiently de-identified to protect privacy.
Disagreement and respectful professional debate are welcome. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and disruptive conduct are not permitted.
The Provider reserves the right to moderate discussions or remove participants whose conduct compromises confidentiality, safety, or the learning environment, subject to applicable law and refund obligations.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, event presentations, recordings, slides, handouts, activities, and related instructional materials are the intellectual property of the Provider, presenters, or their respective copyright holders.
Registration grants participants a limited, personal, noncommercial right to access the purchased educational content.
Participants may take notes for personal professional development but may not reproduce, record, distribute, publicly share, resell, upload, or republish event materials without written authorization.
Unauthorized sharing of event recordings, login credentials, or copyrighted instructional materials is prohibited.
11. Educational Purpose and Professional Responsibility
Continuing education events are intended to support professional learning, critical thinking, and the application of behavior-analytic principles.
Information presented during events is educational in nature and does not constitute individualized clinical consultation, legal advice, medical advice, or professional supervision.
Participation does not establish a supervisory, clinical, or consulting relationship between the attendee and the presenter.
Participants remain responsible for exercising independent professional judgment, adhering to applicable ethical standards, and complying with relevant laws and regulations.
12. Accessibility and Accommodations
We are committed to providing accessible professional learning opportunities.
Participants requiring accessibility accommodations are encouraged to contact hello@daniellevirnelson.com before the event whenever possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to address accommodation requests and identify appropriate participation options.
13. Privacy and Personal Information
Registration and CEU administration may require collection of personal information, including participant names, email addresses, certification numbers, payment status, attendance records, assessment results, and certificate information.
Information is used for registration, event administration, continuing education documentation, participant support, and other purposes disclosed in applicable privacy notices.

If a technical issue prevents a participant from completing an event, the participant should notify the Provider or OpenCEU as soon as reasonably possible.
When feasible, we may provide access to a recording, a make-up assessment, another session, or an appropriate refund.
We are not responsible for temporary interruptions caused by third-party networks or services beyond our reasonable control. This provision does not limit any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.
